Day 1: Arrival & Evening Game Drive Morning:

Morning

- Pick up and transfer: You will be picked from the Airport, hotel or place of residence in Nairobi and depart for Maasai Mara by 7:00 am (time is flexible) after a brief orientation on the itinerary and your destination’s wildlife. The journey to Maasai Mara National reserve takes 4-5 hours depending on the traffic. You will arrive in Maasai Mara In time for Check in, lunch and relaxation.

Afternoon:

- Check-In: Check in to your safari camp situated near the reserve. Enjoy a welcome drink and settle in.

- Lunch: Relish a delicious African-inspired lunch at the camp as you enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding savannah from the dining area, with potential wildlife sightings just outside.

- Rest Time: Take a short rest to refresh and prepare for your first safari adventure.

Evening:

- Unlimited Guided Game Drive: Set off on your first game drive in Maasai Mara in the late afternoon, a prime time for wildlife sightings. Your guide will take you through the expansive reserve, searching for the "Big 5" (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). Depending on the time of year, you may also witness herds of wildebeests and zebras as they migrate across the plains.

- Sunset: Watch the breathtaking African sunset over the Mara plains, with vibrant hues painting the sky as wildlife roams freely around you. Dinner & Overnight Stay: Return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for a sumptuous dinner. Enjoy the evening by the campfire or in the comfort of your tented suite, listening to the sounds of nature around you.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari & Maasai Cultural Experience

Morning: • Breakfast & Early Morning Game Drive: Enjoy your breakfast begin the day with an early morning game drive, when animals are most active. You might spot predators like lions and cheetahs in action as they hunt, and herds of elephants or buffaloes grazing in the early light. • Photographic Opportunities: The soft morning light provides excellent opportunities for stunning wildlife photography, so don't forget to bring your camera! Afternoon: • Picnic lunch at the Mara River: After the morning guided game drive, you will head to the banks oh Mara River where you will have your lunch. Here you might be able spot some hippos, crocodiles or other animals coming to quench their thirst. • Afternoon Game Drive: After your cultural experience, embark on another thrilling game drive to further explore the reserve. This is a great time to catch sight of elusive predators like leopards or cheetahs, or to witness the great herds of wildebeests, especially if you're visiting during the migration season. Dinner & Overnight Stay: Return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for a relaxing dinner under the stars. Reflect on the day's adventures and relax in your cozy accommodations. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Maasai Cultural Tour & Departure

Morning: • Breakfast and Check out: After breakfast, check out from your lodge and say goodbye to Maasai Mara National Reserve. • Maasai Cultural Tour: Enjoy a cultural excursion to a nearby Maasai village. Meet the indigenous Maasai people, renowned for their vibrant culture, and learn about their traditional way of life, customs, and ceremonies. You'll have the chance to interact with the locals, watch traditional dances, and even purchase handmade crafts as souvenirs. Late Morning: • Departure: After the cultural experience, you will begin your road journey back to Nairobi. You will have a chance to have a scenic view of the Great Rift Valley and also visit the Traveler’s Chapel as you head back to Nairobi. The journey takes 4-5 hrs depending on the traffic.
