Day 1: Nairobi → Diani (SGR Train to Coast)

- Board the Madaraka Express SGR (Inter-County service) in Nairobi. Enjoy First Class comfort and refreshments as you travel southeast.

- 02:18 PM: Arrive Mombasa Terminus (Miritini). A private chauffeur in an air-conditioned SUV meets you and transfers you to your luxury beachfront hotel (e.g. English Point Hotel & Spa or Sarova Whitesands, both 5★).

- Afternoon: Check in and relax by the pool or spa. Enjoy fine dining at the hotel’s restaurant (Swahili and international cuisine) or order room service.

- 06:30 PM: Sunset dhow cruise on Mombasa’s harbor. Sail on a traditional Arab dhow with live Swahili music while savouring a fresh seafood dinner and cocktails. Return to the hotel late evening.

- Day 2: Full-Day Mombasa Historical & Cultural Tour

- 08:00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, depart with a private guide for a city heritage tour.

- 08:30 AM: Visit Fort Jesus – the 16th-century Portuguese fortress and museum. This UNESCO World Heritage site (built 1593–1596) offers a guided exploration of its bastions, battlements and artifacts. (Tour lasts ~2 hours.)

- 10:30 AM: Short drive through Mombasa Old Town and local spice market. Enjoy the blend of Swahili, Indian and Arabic architecture on a guided walk.

- 12:00 PM: Depart for Jumba la Mtwana (≈30 km north of town).

- 12:30 PM: Lunch at Monsoons Restaurant near the Jumba ruins – feast on Swahili seafood specialties with ocean views.

- 01:30 PM: Tour Jumba la Mtwana ruins – a 14th-century Swahili settlement on the coast. See ancient coral-stone mosques, tombs and houses, guided by a museum expert.

- 03:00 PM: Return drive to hotel. Late afternoon at leisure (pool, spa, or beach walk).

- Evening: Dinner at the hotel or a top-rated local restaurant. Overnight at the Mombasa resort.

Day 3: Mombasa → Diani Beach (Road Transfer)

- 09:00 AM: After breakfast, check out and take a private transfer south. Cross the Likoni ferry to reach the South Coast road.

- 10:30 AM: Drive down the scenic coastline to Diani Beach (≈1–1.5 hours).

- 11:30 AM: Arrive Nomad Beach Resort (The Sands) or similar 5★ beachfront retreat. (Nomad is a luxury Swahili-style resort on 26 acres with ocean-view suites.) Check in and enjoy a welcome drink.

- Afternoon: Leisure at the resort. Options include lounging on the white-sand beach, swimming in the infinity pool, or indulging in a spa treatment. (All breakfasts and resort amenities provided.)

- Evening: Dinner at the resort’s a la carte restaurant featuring coastal cuisine. Relax in your ocean-view suite overnight.

Day 4: Full-Day Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park & Shimoni Caves

- 07:30 AM: Early breakfast at the resort. Depart by private 4×4 with snorkel gear to Shimoni (Kwale County).

- 09:00 AM: Arrive at Shimoni Pier (KWS station). Board a private dhow or motorboat. Sail into Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park – famed for its clear coral gardens and dolphins. Spot pods of wild dolphins playing alongside the boat.

- 09:30–11:30 AM: Snorkeling in Kisite’s coral reef. Swim among tropical fish, rays and turtles in the protected marine park. (Lifejackets and guides provided.)

- 12:00 PM: Sail to Wasini Island (nearby). Enjoy a Swahili seafood lunch at a beachfront café on Wasini.

- 1:30 PM: Optional guided walk on Wasini Island (mangroves boardwalk and village tour) or relax on the beach.

- 3:00 PM: Boat back to mainland, arriving Shimoni by ~3:30 PM. Visit the Shimoni Slave Caves (short 20–30 min guided tour) to learn about the area’s history.

- 04:00 PM: Return drive to Diani. Arrive at the resort by early evening.

- Evening: Dinner and cocktails at the resort.

Day 5: Leisure Morning at Diani – Diani to Nairobi (SGR)

- Morning: Relax at the resort (sunrise beach stroll, spa massage, or yoga). Enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

- 12:00 PM: Check out and private transfer back to Mombasa SGR Terminus (Miritini).

- 03:15 PM: Board the Express SGR train from Mombasa to Nairobi. Settle into First Class for the return journey.

- 08:15 PM: Arrive Nairobi (Syokimau). The driver can drop you at your Nairobi hotel or airport. Tour concludes.
