Detailed Itinerary
Your safari begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha Airport for your scheduled bush flight to the world-famous Central Serengeti National Park. The flight offers spectacular aerial views of Tanzania's dramatic landscapes before landing in the heart of one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and immediately begin your first exciting game drive en route to Embalakai Authentic Camp. The Central Serengeti, particularly the Seronera region, is renowned for its year-round wildlife concentrations and exceptional predator sightings. During your afternoon game drive, you'll have excellent opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and a remarkable variety of birdlife.
Arrive at the camp later in the afternoon and settle into your luxury tent before enjoying dinner under the African sky. As darkness falls, experience the unforgettable sounds of the Serengeti while relaxing around the camp.

After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day exploring the endless plains of the Central Serengeti. This region is widely regarded as one of the finest wildlife viewing areas in Africa due to its permanent water sources and abundant resident wildlife throughout the year.
Your experienced guide will navigate through open grasslands, rocky kopjes, river valleys, and acacia woodlands while searching for the Big Five and many other fascinating species. The Seronera Valley is particularly famous for its healthy populations of lions, elusive leopards resting in acacia trees, fast-moving cheetahs scanning the plains, large elephant herds, and spotted hyenas.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated scenic sites within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Every moment presents a new opportunity to witness nature in its purest form, from predator-prey interactions to vast herds of grazing herbivores roaming the endless savannah.
Return to Embalakai Authentic Camp in the evening for dinner and another overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

Following breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning game drive as you depart Central Serengeti, allowing one final opportunity to spot wildlife before leaving the park. As you travel south, the scenery gradually changes from endless plains to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Along the journey, continue enjoying wildlife sightings while your guide shares fascinating insights into the Serengeti ecosystem and the annual Great Migration. Stop at scenic viewpoints overlooking the vast plains before ascending the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Arrive at Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp, beautifully located on the rim of the conservation area, in the late afternoon. Relax and take in the cool highland climate and spectacular surroundings before enjoying dinner and preparing for the following day's crater adventure.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as Africa's "Garden of Eden." This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the continent and offers outstanding opportunities to observe animals in their natural habitat.
Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, where you'll search for black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, jackals, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and numerous bird species. The crater's unique ecosystem supports an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, making it one of Tanzania's premier safari destinations.
After enjoying a picnic lunch beside the famous Hippo Pool, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and impressive elephant populations. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon guided game drive through the park, where you'll encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, waterbucks, and an impressive variety of birdlife concentrated along the Tarangire River.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light creates ideal conditions for photography. Watch as elephants gather along the riverbanks, predators patrol the grasslands, and countless bird species come to life with the rising sun.
Return to the lodge for breakfast before enjoying a leisurely departure from Tarangire. Continue your safari to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse park nestled beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Following lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive through Lake Manyara's lush groundwater forests, open floodplains, acacia woodlands, and lakeshore habitats. The park is famous for its large troops of baboons, playful blue monkeys, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and, when fortunate, the legendary tree-climbing lions. Lake Manyara also supports thousands of flamingos and over 400 recorded bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
Later in the afternoon, check in at the beautiful Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, spectacularly perched along the escarpment overlooking the lake below. Enjoy dinner and your final overnight stay of the safari.
