Detailed Itinerary
Your coastal escape begins with a pick-up from your place of residence and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled flight to Diani. Upon arrival at Ukunda Airport, you will be met and transferred to Baobab Beach Resort & Spa, beautifully set along the white sands of Diani Beach.
Check in and settle into your room before enjoying lunch at the resort. Spend the afternoon at leisure, soaking up the tropical atmosphere, relaxing by the pool or taking a leisurely walk along the beach. As the sun sets over the Indian Ocean, enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening at the resort.

After breakfast, depart Diani for approximately one hour’s drive to Shimoni, a historic coastal settlement and gateway to some of Kenya’s finest marine attractions.
Upon arrival in Shimoni, board a traditional motorized boat and cruise across the turquoise waters towards Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park. The journey itself offers beautiful views of the coastline and surrounding islands.
At the marine park, enjoy time snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, exploring vibrant coral gardens and discovering the colourful marine life of the Indian Ocean. Subject to sea conditions and sightings, there may also be opportunities to spot dolphins.
Continue to Wasini Island, where you will experience the relaxed atmosphere and unique culture of this traditional coastal island. Enjoy lunch and some time exploring before proceeding to the Shimoni Caves, historically associated with the coastal slave-trade era. After the excursion, return to Shimoni by boat and drive back to Diani for an evening of relaxation.
